Tonight’s Champions League matchday delivered quite the entertainment with some of the matches  turning into a goal fest.


Atalanta Stage a Comeback to Beat Club Brugge 2–1

After trailing for much of the match, Atalanta showed grit and flipped the scoreline late in the game. This marks Atalanta’s first points in the group stage after they were routed 4-0 by Paris Saint-Germain in their opener.


Mbappé Hat-Trick Powers Real Madrid to Smashing 5–0 Win

Kylian Mbappé was unplayable tonight. He notched a hat-trick, with goals from a penalty, a counterattack finish, and a powerful long-range strike. Real Madrid also added two more — including a stoppage-time goal — to dominate Kairat Almaty.


Chelsea Edge Benfica Chelsea 1–0 Benfica

Jose Mourinho’s return to Stamford Bridge didn’t go as planned. The match was settled by an own goal from Ríos, giving Chelsea the narrow edge.


Liverpool upset as they lose to Galatasaray

An Osimhen penalty put Liverpool to the sword to hand the reds a somewhat unexpected loss.


Bodø/Glimt 2–2 Tottenham

In freezing conditions north of the Arctic Circle, Bodø/Glimt stunned Spurs. Hauge scored twice, and  Spurs had to comeback twice in the match to earn a draw.


Bayern 5–1 Pafos

A dominant display from Bayern, led by strong contributions from Olise and Kane, saw them put Pafos to the sword. Nicolas Jackson scored his first goal for the club.


In other results, 5-star Atletico Madrid  outclassed the German side Frankfurt  5-1 for their first win of the league phase this season,  Inter defeated Slavia Prague 3-0 with Martinez scoring a brace while Marseille crashed Ajax 4-0.
