Morocco’s national team has officially unveiled its 28-man squad ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations 2025, which the Atlas Lions will host from December 21 to January 18. Head coach Walid Regragui has named a powerful roster blending seasoned internationals and dynamic talents as Morocco bids for its first AFCON title since 1976. The list includes elite performers such as goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, defenders Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd and Noussair Mazraoui, midfield stalwarts Sofyan Amrabat and Azzedine Ounahi, as well as attacking threats Youssef En-Nesyri, Brahim Díaz and Ayoub El Kaabi.

Despite recent injuries, marquee full-back Achraf Hakimi has been included, underscoring his importance to the squad both on and off the pitch. With home-crowd support and a deep pool of talent featuring players from top European leagues, Morocco enters AFCON 2025 as one of the favourites to go deep in the tournament. The team will open its campaign in Group A against Comoros, Mali and Zambia, with expectations high that this impressive squad can deliver glory in front of their own fans.
