FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 Round of 16 Fixtures
The FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 Round of 16 is set to deliver eight exciting knockout matches as the best young teams in the tournament battle for a place in the quarter-finals. The competition is being staged in Poland from September 5 to 27, with the Round of 16 scheduled for September 16 and 17.

The knockout stage begins on Wednesday, September 16, with Argentina facing South Korea at Arena Sosnowiec. Brazil will also be in action in Katowice against one of the best third-placed teams from Groups A, C or D. Italy will meet a third-placed team from Groups B, E or F, while Spain take on Portugal in another highly anticipated European contest.
Thursday's fixtures will see France face a third-placed team from Groups A, B or F. Canada will play Nigeria, while defending champions Korea DPR meet Japan. Hosts Poland will complete the Round of 16 schedule against a third-placed team from Groups C, D or E.
Nigeria will attract plenty of attention after their impressive 10-1 victory over New Caledonia in their final Group F match. The Falconets will now face Canada on September 17 in Bielsko-Biała, with a place in the quarter-finals at stake.
The Round of 16 winners will advance to the quarter-finals on September 19 and 20. The semi-finals are scheduled for September 23, followed by the third-place play-off on September 26 and the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup 2026 final on September 27 in Łódź.
